She used to make and decorate the most delightful home made cakes; chocolate and vanilla twirled cakes, bread pudding, cheese and egg custards, just to mention a few, without leaving out her famous home made pastries, made of guava, condensed milk, peach, amoung some other great flavors.
These recipes were passed from generation to generation, starting with Grandma Ines. Lately her daughter Amalia de Santander who was dearly called “Grandma Amalia” also followed and kept the cake and pastries making tradition, and in addition she introduced a wide variety of appetizers such as cheese sticks, bite size meat balls, meat parties etc. Subsequently Grandma Amalia shared and taught these recipes to her granddaughter Yineira Sanchez maintaining the treasured recipes and family secrets of all of the above mentioned.
The only thing that thiny Yineira did not inherit, was Grandma’s name.
